Productie + recycling

Milieubewust ondernemen staat hoog in het vaandel bij Metaplastics. Naast de productie van kledinghangers heeft Metaplastics een eigen recycling-afdeling voor de complete herverwerking van polystyreen (PS) kunststofafval. Hiervoor is een complete recyclinglijn in gebruik welke garant staat voor een snelle en adequate volume-reducering van kunststofafval. Het maalgoed – deels afkomstig uit "post-consumer-waste" en deels uit gerecyclede kleerhangers - wordt na diverse recyclingsprocessen te hebben doorlopen omgezet in homogeen granulaat van constante kwaliteit. Dit gerecycleerde granulaat wordt opnieuw ingezet voor de productie van nieuwe kledinghangers. Zo leveren wij samen ook een bijdrage aan een schonere wereld.

In addition to the production of clothing hangers, Metaplastics has its own recycling department for the complete reprocessing of polystyrene (PS) plastic waste. A complete recycling line is in use for this purpose, ensuring a rapid and effective volume reduction of plastic waste. The regrind - partly derived from post-consumer waste and partly from recycled clothes hangers - undergoes various recycling processes to be transfomred into homogeneous granules of consistent quality. This recycled granulate is then reused in the production of new clothes hangers. In this way, we contribute to a cleaner world."
